A new cafe that’s moved into Les Patisseries’ old location in Toa Payoh Central. Their waffle has the dubious honor of being one of the best-looking bad waffles I’ve ever had. Top marks for aesthetics but a fail when you actually try to eat it. One of those dense, bready waffles that you can almost pretend is a Gardenia loaf if you close your eyes. It wasn’t crispy at all either despite looking like the exterior might provide some crunch. Apparently the brunch items at this place are pretty good and I might try them when I’m in Toa Payoh again, but I obviously can’t recommend anyone come here for the waffle. The ice cream, a combination of salted caramel and vanilla flavors, was decent at the very least.
