Geometry

Located a stone’s throw away from ABC Brickworks Food Centre, Geometry is a dainty little cafe that offers a wide selection of artisan ice cream with some pretty unique flavours.

Despite the name (and the fact that one of the owners was a maths teacher), this place’s decor has got nothing to do with geometry and exudes a clean, rustic vibe.

Belgian waffle with Dark Forest and Sake & Raisin Gelato ($12.40)

The Waffle & Ice Cream: The ice cream here is gelato-based, so expect it to be rich, smooth and dense. I went with a scoop each of the Dark Forest and Sake & Raisin, two premium-range flavours that are essentially boozed-up versions of your regular dark chocolate and raisin ice cream. Paired with the crisp, fluffy Belgian Waffle, it was definitely worth the carbs.
Rating: 4/5 (Waffle), 4.5/5 (Ice Cream)

Cappuccino ($4.50)

The Coffee: What would a cafe be without coffee? Geometry serves up a nice Cappuccino that seems to use a higher ratio of milk that most. At first taste, I was expecting it to be too milky, but the creamy texture of the froth was just right and ended up complementing/bringing out the taste of the coffee instead of overwhelming it.
