Waffletown USA

With its kitschily out-of-date decor, Waffletown hits you with a faceful of nostalgia from the moment you step in. Often compared to A&W, the fixed dining furniture and orange laminated seats here definitely give off that ’90s fast food joint vibe.

I’ve been going to this place for years, from all the way back to when I was a kid and they were located in Bukit Timah Plaza, so this is almost like a retro review, especially since their waffles haven’t changed from when I first had them.

Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, Waffletown’s waffles are premade and reheated, but still manage to be better (and cheaper) than many restaurants that bake their waffles fresh. The best thing about Waffletown is their fried chicken, though. Who needs KFC or Popeyes when you have this place?
